ALTO PROFESSIONAL ANNOUNCES TWO NEW KEYBOARD / PA AMPLIFIERS, THE KICK15 AND KICK12

Alto Professional’s new multifunctional instrument amps combine new technology and handpicked components with massive wattage.

Cumberland, R.I. (March 19, 2012) – Alto Professional, the leader in Live Performance Reinforcement, introduces the Kick15 and Kick12 four-channel instrument amplifier / PA systems with 400 Watts and 250 Watts of power, respectively. Alto Professional will unveil the Kick15 and Kick12 at booth B45 and B45A in Hall 5.1 at Musikmesse 2012 in Frankfurt, Germany from March 21st to 24th.

The Kick15 and Kick12 each represent a new and more powerful amplifier design for keyboardists, drummers and anyone in need of a personal PA. Both feature class-leading wattage, true bi-amped designs, custom-tuned electronic crossovers, and integrated four-channel mixers with built-in Alesis effects. Every component has been optimized for maximum efficiency, giving keyboardists a choice between two modern amplifiers that sound amazing, are lightweight, and have everything they need without the filler.

Unlike competing products that recycle the same outdated technology, the Kick15 and Kick12 each incorporate modern circuitry and a true bi-amped design, providing 400 Watts and 250 Watts of peak power, respectively. The Kick15 and Kick12 are both multifunctional amplifier systems, able to be used in a wide variety of applications. Both offer a four-channel mixer with stereo line inputs, effects, high and low EQ controls on all four channels and an XLR input on channel 1. Stereo RCA inputs for connecting MP3 players and other audio devices are also included.

The Kick15 and Kick12 each employ a handpicked, custom-tuned crossover that splits the incoming signal with razor-sharp precision—no highs to overwork the woofer, and no lows get lost in the tweeter. Even the speaker baffles on the Kick15 and Kick12 have been engineered to direct sound with precision, holding the LF transducers and HF drivers at a slight upward angle to accomplish the best possible throw.

The Kick15 and Kick12 come packed with 16 essential Alesis DSP effects, including delay, flanger, chorus and multiple reverbs. Each effect has 16 different variations, giving musicians a total of 256 effect presets to choose from. A footswitch input allows instant activation or bypass of effects during performances (footswitch not included).

“At Alto Professional, we build the gear we want to use,” said Paul Gallo, Alto Professional Product Manager. “Simply put, the Kick15 and Kick12 have more power, better components and superior design. People will hear the difference immediately.”
